From Creation through the story of Joseph, Genesis connects us to our Judaic roots, as we learn about our relationships with God, with one another & with this world. We will read primary texts, from the Torah, and then compare them with the stories of Sefer Aggadah, to explore the significance of the who, what, where, when, and most importantly the why behind each story. We will also explore how these stories have been used in the past and are still currently being used to guide us in Judaic ethics and practices. A knowledge of Hebrew is not required for auditing Students.
Cost is $150 to audit and $750 for Rabbinic students.
