Readings in Sefer Ha-Aggadah- Rabbi Shari Chen | Mondays 4:00 PM- 5:30PM CT (online)
Join us as we study the stories of Sefer Ha-Aggadah that have defined us as a people, throughout time. Each week we will focus on a different legend that has been used to guide us in Judaic ethics and practices. These stories connect us to our Judaic roots, while at the same time teach us about our relationship with God, our relationships with one another & our relationship and the world.
In this course we will read and translate the original Hebrew texts, from the Book of Legends, and discuss the significance of the who, what, where, when, and most importantly the why behind each of these defining stories.
