We will engage with texts from the Talmud on the High Holiday season: what are its origins, its practices, its meaning for them and for us? The goal is to understand the Talmudic texts in their own right, and to see how our reading of these sacred texts can enhance our own experience of this beautiful season in the Jewish calendar cycle.
